Certification Statistics

Professional Standards Institute has applicants and certified professionals throughout the United States and in over 30 countries. Below you will find summary statistics of our certification holders. We do not release the number of certification holders as we are not in the numbers game trying to certify large numbers of individuals. We believe in the "Quality" of certifications and not "Quantity". The statistics below will be periodically updated.

Although our tests are administered on-line, they are not easy. This is evident from the statistics provided below. Our certification tests are developed to measure "Real World" knowledge gained on the job, not book knowledge. With a majority of certifications currently available, you can purchase and study a book, take the certification test, and become certified without ever working in that industry or specialty. This is not true with our certifications. Although you may find some answers to our certification test questions in a few books, that will not guarantee that you will pass our tests. We do not offer any books or study materials to prepare for our tests. We strongly recommend that you have at least five years experience prior to taking our certification tests.
