Your college degree or technical/career certificate or diploma must be in one of the following fields or similar fields.

  1. Project Management
  2. Program Management or Engineering Management (must include one course in project management)
  3. Business Management or Administration (must include one course in project management)
  4. Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Management (must include one course in project management)

  Phase 2 Competency Requirements

Once your eligibility has been determined in phase 1, the next step is to complete the Competency-Based Assessment in your certification field, Business Project Management.

Phase 2 Activities

  1. Submit Assessment and Certification Fee
    • Professional Level: $295
    • Senior Level: $395
    • Master Level: $495
    • Veterans and First Responders receive a 20% discount on certifications.
  2. Competency-Based Assessment (AI Design Assisted)
    • Complete and Submit the Competency-Based Assessment
    • Peer evaluated based on Assessment Rubric
  3. Feedback Provided and Recommendation Decision
    • You will be provided feedback for your Competency-Based Assessment submission.
    • Competency-Based Assessment evaluation results:
      • You will have earned your certification when you pass the assessment!
      • If it does not meet the certification standards, you will be able to re-work and re-submit your Competency-Based Assessment.
