The mission of Professional Standards Institute (PSI) is to advance and support the establishment, development, and preservation of quality and high professional standards and ethics.

  PSI Goals

To achieve the mission of the Professional Standards Institute, the following goals have been established:

  1. Provide "true" competency-based real-world professional certifications that are vendor-neutral and role-based.
  2. Provide quality professional certifications that deliver the value that industry expects and demands.
  3. Provide professional certifications that measure the skills and competencies gained through experience and education.
  4. Emphasize quality in certifications, not quantity.
  5. Provide opportunities to contribute and give back to industry and community.
  6. Recruit the best Subject Matter Experts for program development, peer evaluations, and program administration.
  7. Research and develop new programs that support mission achievement.
