Re-Certification Requirements
Your professional certification through Professional Standards Institute (PSI) is good for a full five (5) years. Master-level certifications do not expire and do not require re-certification. For professional and senior level certifications, re-certification through PSI is simple and does not cost an arm and a leg.
Within the last six (6) months of your 5-year certification cycle, you will need to submit your re-certification application and supporting documents for re-certification. As with initial certification, experience is emphasized for re-certification. Your application and supporting documents will be evaluated to ensure you meet the requirements for re-certification. If you meet the re-certification requirements, your re-certification and verified re-certification activities will be recorded on your Professional Career Portfolio.
Specific Re-Certification Requirements
- There are two requirements to earn re-certification: (accomplished during the 5-year certification period)
- Have 3 years of verified full time work experience in your field (includes industry projects).
